Sixth No 1 Album looking likely for the The Script as sales tell a Tale!

The Script are set to gain their sixth UK Number 1 album with their greatest hits collection 'Tales From The Script - Greatest Hits' as it's launches before they embark on a new tour.

In a busy week of new entries with no fewer than 6 other artists releasing content, the Irish rockers are proving their creditability built up over the last 13 years of performing at the highest level.

If it debuts at the top of the shop, Tales From The Script would join their previous chart-topping records The Script (2008), Science & Faith (2010), No Sound Without Silence (2014), Freedom Child (2017) and Sunsets & Full Moons (2019) in what has been a very successful career for the boys!

Other releases this week are made up from The Specials with Protest Songs 1924-2012, Queen drummer Roger Taylor with his solo record Outsider; Of course after all it's hype (and delays) the original soundtrack for new James Bond film No Time To Die by composer Hans Zimmer is following the film’s release, and Taylor Swift’s former chart-topper Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is out again (so technically not a new release but it is) following its vinyl release.

Finishing off the new releases we've got Tony Bennett’s final album Love For Sale, and his second collaboration record with Lady Gaga, and another new/not new release Sugababes’ 20th anniversary re-release of debut album One Touch and progressive rockers Yes sit at Number 8 with a staggering 22nd studio album entitled, The Quest.

Another of the old crooners, Neil Young releases the audio of his performance at Carnegie Hall 1970 (11), the first in an official bootleg series - just in time for Christmas, and the last two new releases are made up of the second album from English rapper and songwriter Potter Payper entitled Thanks For Waiting. Finally we have former Judas Priest guitarist KK Dowling’s side-project KK’s Priest debut album Sermons of the Sinner.
